You chose to pull over
Pulling over to stretch and enjoy nature, you notice something a few yards ahead. It’s a heard of deer grazing the sparse forest foliage. As quickly but quietly as possible, you grab your camera to snap a few pictures. It isn’t everyday a photo opportunity like this comes along.
Following a moment of admiration, you decide to leave your forest friends to continue the final trek home. Driving off and continuing up the mountain, you can’t help but daydream about life in the forest. Between the fresh air and beautiful scenes, your half consider living out of your car and foraging for food in the forest for the rest of your life. Alas, a ‘city life’ awaits your return.
Snapped from your airy dream life, a small branch from an overhanging limb spirals down, striking your windshield. You’re startled, but alright. Pulling to the side for a moment to inspect the damage, you discover only a crack in your windshield.
Frustrated, you continue your drive up and over the mountain, arriving home an hour later. Seeing as you can’t drive with a cracked windshield, you call your local auto glass shop Adventure Auto Glass and they schedule you the following evening.
In your explanation of how it all went down, you show the AAG rep your incredible deer pics and she mentions a great program they offer called ‘Adventure with Animals.’ Since you are using your auto glass insurance to cover the cost of your windshield, Adventure Auto Glass offers to donate their own money in your name to any animal organization you want.
