Folks ask us about chip repairs more than any other service we provide.

Repairs are an attempt at fixing a chip in your windshield. There is no guarantee that the chip won’t crack out nor does it prevent more chips from occurring. One hopes that it keeps the integrity of your windshield so that it lasts longer.  Keeping the original factory seal is important to most.

The main reason for a repair is to TRY to prevent them from spreading. Does it often work? Yes. Does it sometimes not work? Also, yes.

Just as we cannot guarantee that a new windshield won’t get a rock chip a day later from driving around, we cannot guarantee a repair won’t crack out that chip.
